Zoe Oakes and Maria Locke founded Hills Housekeeping in 2016 - united by a passion for cleaning to extremely high standards Zoe and Maria wanted to create a service to give people something precious - their own time back!
It was in the November that year we decided to do a training course with Ultima Environmental Ltd to improve as a company and what a journey it has been! Ben Giles and Mark Baxter ran an exceptional course that introduced us to a different world of cleaning! The course gave us a great insight into this kind of work, we would strongly advise to do this course if you are thinking of this as an additional or new business to do this first. We came away with a new and improved skill set, good practice, and a good ethos all of which opened many opportunities. Without this skill set Hills would not have survived as a business through current times.
They support us through each job we are sent on regardless if they had given us the work or not, often giving us online training, invaluable advice, encouragement and professional resolve along the way. We enjoy working with them so much, so we felt renewing our licence with them was important for us to maintain our high standards and link with crime and trauma cleaning. Each course teaches us new ways in which we can work, and we would highly recommend attending, Ben and Mark are a font of knowledge in this area and always give solid advice! While trying to run a new business has had its difficulties, we believe without them we might not be here.
